ClearSky Mobile Media, Inc., a leading provider of managed services and content to wireless carriers, announced today the spin-off of Red Planet Media, Inc. as a separate entity. ClearSky Mobile Media Adds Two New Carriers to Growing List of Customers

Mobi PCS and CC Communications sign contracts with ClearSky Mobile Media for Managed Data and Entertainment Services

ClearSky Mobile Media, Inc., a leading provider of mobile entertainment services, today announced new multi-year contracts with two different carriers to deploy its full suite of wireless content and data services. Mobi PCS, located in Hawaii and CC Communications of Nevada are the latest regional carriers to incorporate offerings from ClearSky Mobile Media into their subscriber packages.

The terms of both of the agreements include ClearSky Mobile Media’s complete, end-to-end solution suite that includes WAP Gateway services, hosted MMS-C servers, ProPortal, ProVantage, ProVision, ProTrends and RevShare. Additionally, both Mobi PCS and CC Communications will be using ClearSky’s product line to deliver a broad array of downloadable mobile entertainment content such as ringtones, games and images when the services launch.

Located on the island of Oahu, Mobi PCS was launched in January 2006 to bring revolutionary communication services to Hawaii in the form of unlimited wireless service. With its “all you can eat” offer, Mobi PCS features pre-paid flat rate plans with an optional data service plan or a pay-per-use plan that allows the consumer to purchase data as needed. In addition to taking advantage of ClearSky Mobile Media’s vast range of content already available, Mobi PCS has focused on their unique position as Hawaii’s only local wireless carrier to offer its subscribers content that focuses on local consumer lifestyles and interests.

“As a Hawaii-focused company, we look forward to working with ClearSky to offer wireless content that is customized for Hawaii consumers,” said Bill Jarvis, president and CEO of Mobi PCS. “In addition to the breadth and depth of content already being offered from ClearSky, their ability to easily incorporate third party content into their existing content distribution platform was critical to meet the needs of our content strategy.”

Back on the mainland, CC Communications is deeply rooted in the history of Churchill County, Nevada. In 1889 CC Communications acquired the local telegraph plant from Western Union to ensure the region would maintain state of the art communications services. Thereafter, CC Communications promptly transitioned to offering telephone service and later grew into a full service telecommunications provider by adding DSL, WiFi, IPTV, FTTH, and of course, cellular service. “Upgrading our cellular service to offer the latest features desired by customers is yet another way CC Communications is keeping with its tagline of ‘Home Grown, World Class,'” declares Robert Adams, CC Communications’ General Manager.

“Both of these new carriers signify the advancement that ClearSky Mobile Media is making in the marketplace,” said Dean Fresonke , CEO of ClearSky Mobile Media. “Our vast collection of content in addition to our ability to personalize our offerings for each regional carrier makes us the first choice for these carriers when they are choosing their data and content providers.”

Pocket Communications is a rapidly growing local carrier, offering flat-rate, pre-paid, mobile phone service in the San Antonio and Laredo, Texas areas.

The terms of the agreement include ClearSky Mobile Media’s WAP Gateway services, ProPortal, ProVantage, ProVision, and ClearBill. Additionally, Pocket Communications is using ClearSky’s product line to deliver a broad array of downloadable mobile entertainment content such as ringtones, games and images.

With a proven track record of tailoring services specific to the local communities, ClearSky Mobile Media’s vast range of content — including content aimed at the Hispanic market — was a key factor in the decision to select ClearSky Mobile as the provider of Pocket’s content.

“Our business philosophy is built on offering the best service to our customers in San Antonio and Laredo,” says Amir Rajwany, Executive VP and CTO of Pocket Communications. “ClearSky Mobile Media’s mobile data and entertainment offerings are very appealing and coupled with the ease of implementing their platform into our service structure, made them a good choice as a mobile media partner.”

ClearSky Mobile Media Brings Premium SMS Content Solution to Tier 2 and Tier 3 Carriers Across the United States

Tier 2 and Tier 3 carriers now able to successfully compete with the Tier 1 carriers with Premium Content offering

ClearSky Mobile Media, Inc., a leading provider of entertainment content and services for the wireless industry, today announced that they have the platform and relationships to bring premium SMS content to Tier 2, and Tier 3 carriers across the United States. Using ClearSky Mobile Media’s unique technology ClearBill, and relationships with various premium content providers, this new offering marries together the content, the distribution and billing factors that today preclude some carriers from being able to offer this service to their subscribers.

Currently, premium content is mainly available only to subscribers of Tier 1 carriers, leaving smaller Tier 2, and virtually all Tier 3 carriers without the ability to offer premium SMS content to their subscribers due to a lack of billing integration as well as limited availability of premium content. ClearSky Mobile Media is now packaging premium content in a distribution and billing model that offers easy implementation for the carriers, while also providing significant economy-of-scale for the content providers.

“With practically zero implementation time, Clear Sky Mobile Media is offering the most comprehensive end-to-end premium content solution for Tier 2, and Tier 3 carriers on the market today,” says Dean Fresonke , CEO of ClearSky Mobile Media. “Due to our partnerships with major premium content distributors, all carriers can now get access to cutting-edge graphics, ringtones, weather and traffic reports, and more. Utilizing our legacy of content delivery and billing integration expertise, ClearSky Mobile Media can provide carriers with the best possible content experience for their subscribers in an easy to implement, cost-efficient way.”

Premium SMS content is commonly used for delivering digital content such as news alerts, financial information, and ringtones. Subscribers either pay a nominal monthly subscription fee or are charged per SMS for receiving this premium content. The revenues are typically divided between the mobile network operator and the premium SMS provider either through revenue share or a fixed transport fee. Mobile phone subscribers can sign up for premium services that offer everything from a joke of the day, to texting in votes for game shows, and the cost is added to the user’s phone bill or subtracted from the user’s prepaid account balance.

ClearSky Mobile Media Selected to Present at the 2007 Florida Venture Forum

ClearSky Mobile Media chosen as one of the Southeast’s best prospects for equity financing.

ClearSky Mobile Media, Inc., a leading provider of entertainment content and services for the wireless industry, has been chosen to participate in the 2007 Florida Venture Forum. Chosen as one of 26 companies that represent the Southeastern U.S.’s “best prospects for equity financing,” ClearSky Mobile Media will be presenting its vision of the future to a panel of venture capitalists, investment bankers, financial intermediaries and entrepreneurs.

“It is an honor to be chosen to participate in the 2007 Venture Forum,” says Dean Fresonke , CEO of ClearSky Mobile Media. “Florida is often thought of as a “tourist Mecca” rather than a technology state, but the depth and quality of my fellow participants show just how wrong this impression is. At ClearSky Mobile Media, we have built a multinational company serving the ever growing demand for downloadable and interactive content on mobile phones – and Florida is an ideal local to serve both North and South America.”

The Florida Venture Forum is Florida’s oldest, largest and most prestigious statewide support group for venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, helping emerging growth companies come together with sources of capital across the state. In 2006, over 1,200 people attended the conference, including 185 venture capital firms from across the U.S. To date, former conference presenters have been successful in raising nearly $1 billion.

“2007 promises to be our best year yet,” remarks Fresonke. “With new content partners and new distribution deals with MVNOs and tier-one carriers in the US and globally, our expanding content portfolio and innovative business models are sure to make a mark in the industry. We look forward to launching into ’07 with the help of the Florida Venture Forum.”

ClearSky Mobile Media Becomes Exclusive Provider of Mobile Content for Latin Superstar Hector Suarez

ClearSky Mobile Media adds Latin entertainer to their extensive Latin mobile content offering to US and LATAM carrier customers

ClearSky Mobile Media, Inc., a leading provider of mobile data and entertainment services, today announced that they will be the exclusive worldwide provider of mobile content such as wallpaper, video clips and ringtones for the popular Latin entertainer Hector Suarez.

Based in Mexico, superstar and entertainer Hector Suarez, also known as the “voice of the people,” is best known for his political satire-based sketch comedy show “La Cosa” and “La Otra Cosa.” These shows have become part of the comedic cultural fabric of Mexican and US Hispanic television due to their innovative concepts and production techniques, and have made Mr. Suarez one of the most popular Hispanic celebrities in Mexico, the rest of Latin America and the United States.

With ClearSky’s integrated mobile content offering, carriers will be able to provide their subscribers access to video clips of Mr. Suarez’s famous characters, wallpaper images of Mr. Suarez and ringtones featuring the most popular sound bites from Mr. Suarez’s programs. First to launch the content this month is carrier TelCel in Mexico with content also made available to operators in Venezuela, Chile and the United States immediately.

“We are excited to be able to offer content of this level to carriers in the US and Latin America,” says Mr. Dean Fresonke , CEO of ClearSky Mobile Media. “With a purchasing power of approximately $736 billion, and a population of approximately 44 million in the US, Hispanic Americans are a critical market segment for the US carriers to serve with relevant, market-specific, mobile content,” Fresonke adds.

In addition to content from Mr. Suarez, ClearSky Mobile Media also offers a full complement of ringtones, videos, games and images for the Hispanic marketplace. With multiple carriers already in Latin and South America using ClearSky Mobile Media’s services, ClearSky is also bringing this experience to carriers in the United States to help them accommodate the growing Hispanic American market, which today makes up about 14% of the US population.

“I’m excited that my fans will be able to download their favorite clips and use my voice as a ringtone,” commented Hector Suarez. “‘La Raza’, my Mexican fans, are an extremely loyal group of people that see me as someone who tackles their issues, and I wanted to give them one more way to express themselves through my characters. I chose ClearSky Mobile Media to distribute my content because of their track record and legacy as a pioneer in the mobile data industry.”
