ClearSky Mobile Media, Inc. today announced the signing of a new contract with Locus Telecommunications, a New Jersey-based MVNO carried on both AT&T and Verizon networks.
“By making ClearSky the primary source of our mobile entertainment and data solutions, we are able to deliver the mainstream content our subscribers demand, in the fastest and most efficient manner,” said Locus Director of Sales, Jack Woo. “We look forward to offering our subscribers a full range of mobile entertainment backed by ClearSky’s hosted services and more than 15 years of practical experience.”
The terms of this multi-year agreement call for Locus to deploy ClearSky’s full suite of wireless content and mobile data services including, Unified Media Center (storefront), ProVantage (portal management platform), ProVision (provisioning system), ProConfig (handset configuration) and RevShare (billing tool).
“Our new business relationship with Locus is strategic as it is yet another ClearSky implementation with an AT&T MVNO. Moreover, it’s also the first to utilize our connection to Ericsson’s pre-paid billing platform,” said ClearSky executive vice president of sales & marketing, Tony Tagliareni. “We look forward to working closely with Locus to maximize their data ARPU and subscriber growth.”
