Management Team

Bill Poellmitz (President & CEO)

A co-founder of ClearSky, Mr. Poellmitz played a major role in defining the hosted-services business model. Earlier, he co-founded Cerulean Technology, a developer of mobile data software for law enforcement, where he served as CFO and VP Marketing. Three years after venture funding was completed, Cerulean was sold for $150 million. Mr. Poellmitz holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics, and speaks several languages.

Frank Danielson (Chief Technology Officer)

Mr. Danielson has been the lead infrastructure architect for ClearSky since he joined the company in 1999. Earlier he worked in software development for GTE Wireless (now part of Verizon) and Cummins-Allison. Mr. Frank studied Electronics Engineering in college and has earned certifications from Cisco, HP, RedHat, and Novell.

Tony Tagliareni (Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing)

A five-year veteran at ClearSky, Mr. Tagliareni began his career in the wireless industry in 1982 and worked for several key industry providers including AUXCO, CBIS (now Convergys) and ITDS (now Amdocs). While at ITDS, he led a sales and marketing team that helped grow the company from 50 to over 1,000 employees in five years. Mr. Tagliareni earned a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Economics.

Scott Stewart (Vice President, Technical Services)

With ClearSky for 11 years, Mr. Stewart has led the development of in-house projects that form the basis for most services currently provided by ClearSky. Previously he worked for Fidelity Investments, where he led the software development team in building a telephony-based investment management platform. He holds a B.S. in Computer Information Science.

Kelly Corkill (Vice President, Operations)

Mr. Corkill joined ClearSky after the company’s acquisition of GetLisa Information Services, Inc., a company he co-founded in 1999. After earning his Computer Science degree from Control Data Institute, Mr. Corkill served eight years in the US Army Signal Corps, followed by 10 years at MCI. Mr. Corkill is responsible for all ClearSky data center facilities and manages the people responsible for their operation.
